Seeds treatment can interfere with seeds health testing results
For many, it will be known that seed health tests have been developed and validated for untreated seeds. Seed treatments (see website for more information) may influence seed health testing. For example, with seed extract PCR tests on Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis and Acidovorax citrulli. Therefore, preferably send in untreated seed samples.
This does not apply to tests where it is explicitly stated that the test is performed on treated seed.
If the seeds have been disinfected, or treated, it is necessary to mention this in your application. This because of the safety of our employees and possible influence of the tests results.
New way of stating nematode tests on the certificate
Nematode tests are carried out on seeds, plant material and soil for export and quality purposes. The mention of these tests on the certificate was always done in a generic way. As a result, it was not always clear which nematode exactly was being tested for. This will change from 1 July.
We state exactly on the certificate which nematode(s) was tested for. The way results are displayed will also change slightly. From now on we will state how many nematodes of each species have been found on the certificate. The other information no longer appears on the certificate.

The test portfolio of Naktuinbouw Laboratories changes continuously. We develop new tests, change existing tests or stop performing certain tests. That is why we regularly publish a new version of the Price list. This way we offer our customers the most up-to-date overview possible of the services we offer.
